Area Manager (level 3)

You will automatically be awarded Level 3 upon reaching 25,000 edits. Before reaching this number, you can also apply for level 3 if you meet the following conditions:

Requirements for an Area Manager (AM) are:

• A reasonable number of high-quality map edits
• Active member of the Dutch Waze community
• Thoroughly reviewed the Advanced Guide
• Have a Google account to work with Google Docs.

How:

• You can become an Area Manager by requesting an area.
• You will be assigned a Region Manager (RM) as a coach.

Activities:

• Monitor roadworks
• Process closures
• Coach novice editors
• Be available for your RM coach
• Perform small tasks.

What is extra (compared to level 2):

• Maintaining additional road types such as Minor Highways
• Maintaining lane guidance
• Being able to place closures
• Processing charging stations
• Adjusting turn instructions
• Member of the Area Manager Group.
