Falcon Snapper

As you drive along your route, the arrow in the Waze app depicts your location on the Waze map. A technology, "snaps" the arrow to a segment on the map on your route. The Falcon Snapper (FS), introduced in 2020, uses multiple sensors including GPS, gyroscope, accelerometer (and bluetooth in tunnels) to determine the most likely position of the car in relation to the road.
