==Place edit request==
Place edit requests are displayed on the [[Waze Map Editor|editor]] screen. The selection shown can be adjusted using the [[Issue tracker]]. 

The Places updates [[Waze_Map_Editor#Layers_menu|layer]] will display [[Places]] with update request(s) pending.
Many update requests have to do with [[Charging Station Place|charging stations]], the EVCS PURs.
The Place Update Request (PUR) markers show the location of a pending Place updates. 
 
[[File:Wme_placemarker_new.png]] indicates a request for a new place. 
[[File:Wme_placemarker_new_photo.png]] indicates a request for a new place photo 
[[File:Wme_placemarker_updated_details.png]] indicates a request with new place details 
 
The work for the PUR mediator is to check the request. If it is nothing serious, reject it otherwise add missing details. It is recommended to approve incomplete requests, save, and then edit the place to correct the wrong information so it can be used as a destination to navigate to. 
 
If appropriate, please contact the reporter of the Post update request via [[Chat]].

Since any user can be blacklisted and blocked from adding places after trying to add a certain number of places or updates that are rejected, it is better to approve all serious requests and only reject non-serious requests.

===Photos===
Photos may not show people's faces, car license plates, or other information that could identify a person. Photos used must be a recognizable illustration of the location in question. * First check the existance of this company; if not '''Reject''' the request.
* Is the name spelled right; if not correct the spelling.
* Is the address supplied and complete; if not add the full address
* Check the location.
* Check the other supplied details; correct them if necessary
* If possible add details like website, telephone number, opening hours.
* Click '''Approve''' and save the updated place.
* If necessary move the place to the correct location and/or add an entry/exit point.
